A dash of memory

This is a small one, but one that I teach my friends and team that really works well.

In chats (texting, Skype, etc.) putting a ‘-’ in front of something means it is something to be discussed next time we talk verbally, or in person, etc. (some systems, like Slack will even automatically turn this into a bullet point).

The idea is you don’t need to discuss it at all right now, it is just a tick-mark so next time you are talking directly you can scan your chat log and remember all the ‘-’ items.

This works really well as a standard.

Some things are probably better not to wait on:

- Pregnancy test result

So, pick words that remind you of what to discuss, without causing stress.
